Job Summary

The Regional Executive Vice President is a senior executive responsible for overseeing business operations, financial performance, strategic growth, and leadership across a designated geographic region. This role provides executive-level direction for multiple business units, operational divisions, facilities, or regional markets while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.

The Regional EVP leads regional executives, operational leaders, sales teams, and support departments to drive profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and organizational growth. The role works closely with corporate leadership and regional stakeholders to implement business strategies and expand market presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Executive Leadership

• Lead enterprise operations and strategic initiatives across a defined geographic region.
• Oversee regional business units, operational facilities, and executive leadership teams.
• Ensure alignment between regional operations and corporate objectives.
• Establish regional performance standards, KPIs, and accountability systems.
• Drive operational consistency, efficiency, and organizational growth across the region.

Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

• Develop and execute regional growth and expansion strategies.
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and regional integration initiatives.
• Analyze regional market trends, competitive conditions, and customer demands.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership on long-term strategic planning.

Financial & Business Performance Management

• Oversee regional budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Drive profitability and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor revenue growth, operational costs, labor efficiency, and business performance metrics.
• Ensure effective allocation of resources and capital investments.
• Support enterprise financial planning and risk management initiatives.

Operational Oversight

• Supervise regional operations, service delivery, production, logistics, or business functions depending on industry.
• Improve operational processes, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Support digital transformation and operational modernization initiatives.

Leadership & Workforce Development

• Lead regional vice presidents, directors, general managers, and operational executives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop executive leadership talent.
• Build high-performance regional management teams.
• Promote employee engagement, organizational culture, and leadership accountability.
• Support succession planning and workforce development initiatives.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Maintain relationships with major clients, investors, business partners, and government agencies.
• Represent the organization at executive meetings, conferences, and regional business events.
• Resolve high-level operational or customer-related issues.
• Support enterprise branding and market reputation initiatives.
• Collaborate with community and industry stakeholders.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Ensure regional compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• Support enterprise risk management and business continuity programs.
• Oversee operational audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action initiatives.
• Promote ethical business practices and workplace safety programs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with finance, HR, legal, IT, operations, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic business programs.
• Support implementation of new technologies, systems, and operational frameworks.
• Ensure communication and alignment between regional and corporate leadership.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• MBA or executive leadership degree preferred.

Experience

• 18+ years of executive leadership or regional management experience.
• Proven success managing multi-site or multi-regional operations.
• Strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational leadership.
• Executive-level experience within large or complex organizations preferred.

Salary Range (United States)

• Typically ranges from $280,000 to $700,000+ annually
