IT Engineer – Office & Site Support Full Time NEW

Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 8,000 (Based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Engineer to manage and support both office-based IT systems and project-related IT site work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structured cabling, server configuration, system maintenance, and day-to-day IT support. Prior experience working with IT service companies or subcontractors is essential, as the role involves both operational support and on-site implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Office-Based Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain internal IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, networks, and servers.

· Provide technical support to office staff for hardware, software, and connectivity issues

· Oversee and execute structured cabling works.

· Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and network availability.

· Handle user account management, backups, antivirus systems, and patch updates.

· Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with company policies.

Project/Site-Based Responsibilities:

· Oversee and execute structured cabling works at project sites, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.

· Install and configure network equipment (switches, routers, access points) on site.

· Set up and manage project-based servers, CCTV systems, access control, and communication systems.

· Collaborate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure timely and effective IT setup and maintenance.

· Perform routine site visits to support ongoing IT operations and resolve issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in IT service companies or subcontracting environments.

· Strong practical knowledge of:

o Structured cabling (Cat6, patch panel termination, cable testing)

o Server setup and configuration (Windows/Linux)

o System and network administration

o General IT troubleshooting for hardware and software

· Experience in project execution, IT infrastructure deployment, and site coordination.

· Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to both office and field environments.

· Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA, MCSA) are an advantage.

· Experience with IT security, backup systems, and network monitoring tools.

· Valid driving license (if site mobility is required).
