Accounts Executive
Vishram Management Group (VMG) is a premier multiple retail and hospitality group. We are currently seeking a meticulous and high-ownership Account Executive specializing in US-based accounting. This is a remote, full-time position requiring a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the technical expertise to bridge the gap between daily operations and financial accuracy and have experience in Retail , Ed Tech and QSR Industry .
The Core Mission
As an Account Executive you will serve as the financial backbone for multiple retail and restaurant locations. Your primary focus will be ensuring every transaction—from a POS sale to a vendor bank transfer—is recorded with 100% precision. We are looking for a “doer” who navigates QuickBooks with ease and understands the nuances of US financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Bookkeeping
Manage daily financial records across multiple store locations using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all journal entries and postings are accurate and properly documented.
Categorize expenses and manage accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to detail.
2. Advanced Reconciliation & Internal Controls
Perform daily and weekly reconciliations: POS vs. Bank vs. Cash.
Audit POS reports against physical bank deposits to identify and resolve any variances or “leakages.”
Investigate financial discrepancies immediately and implement corrective entries.
3. Reporting & Financial Analysis
Support the senior team in preparing weekly and monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
Assist in month-end closing procedures and the preparation of Balance Sheets.
Contribute to Management Information System (MIS) reports and internal dashboards to track unit performance.
4. Process Optimization
Monitor daily cash flow and operational expenditures across different business units.
Proactively suggest and implement workflows to streamline accounting efficiency within the remote setup.
Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
US Accounting Expertise: 2–5 years of direct experience in US accounting practices.
Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Industry Background: Previous experience in the Retail or Restaurant sectors is essential.
Reconciliation Skills: Proven ability to handle complex multi-entity reconciliations.
Work Schedule: Must be willing and able to work US Business Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST). This is a Night Shift as in IST.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. (CPA, CMA, or MBA Finance is a plus).
