SFS School, Narengi is seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to serve as a School Librarian. The role requires a strong foundation in library science, effective resource management skills, and the ability to create an engaging reading environment that fosters curiosity, independent learning, and a lifelong love for books among students.

Qualifications

• BLSc / MLSc (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in a school setting)
• Proficiency in digital tools and library management systems

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize the school library, including cataloguing, classification, and maintenance of books and digital resources.
• Assist students and teachers in locating resources and support academic and research needs.
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory, issue/return systems, and acquisitions.
• Develop and update library resources in alignment with the curriculum and student needs.
• Ensure a disciplined, welcoming, and student-friendly library environment.
• Integrate digital resources and modern library practices for enhanced learning experiences.
• Conduct orientation sessions for students on effective library usage.
• Collaborate with teachers for projects, assignments, and interdisciplinary activities.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.

Salary

Up to ₹26,000 CTC per month
