Maintenance Jr. Engineer Full Time NEW

The Maintenance Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. will support the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This entry-level role involves assisting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Job Responsibilities**

• Assist senior engineers and technicians with the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks according to established procedures and checklists.
• Support the installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements accurately in the maintenance management system.
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Learn and apply technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and industrial controls.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
