Responsibilities

The Senior Solution Architect serves as a key role in the APAC Enterprise Architecture team, with accountability for the definition and execution of the regional Enterprise Architecture strategy and its alignment with the global strategy.

• Represents the region in the global Enterprise Architecture Community, and as a member of the global Core EA Team, defines and contributes to the global EA standards, principles, and governance model that support the standardization of solution architecture across DSC.
• As a key design authority in APAC community the role influences decisions at the regional level that ensure the optimization of replicable and easily integrated supply chain solutions across DSC APAC countries.
• This role will address business, information, and technology-related initiatives and establishes the approach for integrating information applications and programs.
• Catalogues develop, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Business Architecture Principles, Models, and Standard Components used by the Business to perform all information system-related activities. Defines regional EA-specific principles and standards to steer the solution IT architecture.
• Manages regional IT specific technology lifecycle in alignment with Enterprise Architects and translates it into a regional transformation roadmap.
• Contributes to the definition of blueprints, templates and patterns that support standardization of solution architecture across DHL Supply Chain.
• Provides guidance for decision making and applies expertise for the respective regional IT architecture including evaluation of our legacy IT landscape and new product selection.
• Creates and maintains a ‘big picture’ for the business, information, application, technology, infrastructure, and security architecture layers and their artifacts and aligns with stakeholders and counterparts.
• Aligns the domain IT architecture across domains and consults with domain and regional leaders on

Requirements

• At least 10-15 years’ of IT experience in progressive roles.
• 10 years’ experience in application design , solutions development and application life cycle management
• 10 years’ experience in diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across business and IT
• 5 years’ experience designing, developing, and implementing supply chain IT solutions.
• 5 years’ experience working across global/Regional teams and functions to collaborate on vision and strategy for IT applications and solutions
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture Management discipline, including knowledge of LeanIX and IT frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
• Extensive experience in creating, managing, and applying concepts, artifacts, methods, and governance from business to IT level
• Extensive experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership and all partners on projects
• Advanced project planning skills and experience managing complex technical projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
