Kidology is a fast-growing kids’ brand focused on creating innovative, screen-free play experiences that promote learning, creativity, and development. We are expanding aggressively across retail and offline channels and are looking for a dynamic Head of Retail Sales to lead this growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Retail Sales with a strong network in retail distribution, channel partnerships, and supply chain management to drive offline sales expansion for Kidology across modern trade, general trade, distributors, and retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Expansion & Distribution
● Develop and execute Kidology’s offline retail expansion strategy across India
● Build and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners
● Onboard new channel partners and strengthen existing retail network
● Identify opportunities in modern trade, general trade, toy stores, bookstores, and large-format retail
Sales & Channel Management
● Drive revenue growth through offline retail channels
● Set monthly/quarterly sales targets for distributors and partners
● Monitor secondary sales and retail performance
● Ensure achievement of channel-wise sales KPIs
Supply Chain Coordination
● Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth stock movement
● Optimize inventory planning across retail/distribution network
● Forecast demand and maintain healthy stock levels with partners
● Resolve supply chain bottlenecks affecting retail operations
Market Intelligence
● Track competitor presence, pricing, and retail trends
● Gather retailer/distributor feedback for product and pricing improvements
● Recommend expansion opportunities in new geographies/markets
Requirements
● 4-5 years of experience in retail sales/distribution/channel management
● Strong network within:
○ Distributors
○ Retail chains
○ Modern trade / General trade
○ Toy / Kids / FMCG / Consumer Goods ecosystem preferred
● Proven track record in offline sales growth and distribution expansion
● Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory planning
● Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience in kids/toy/FMCG/consumer product brands preferred
● Existing distributor/retail partner network highly preferred
● Prior experience scaling an offline retail business nationally
