Lead – Marketing, Commercial

Location: Mumbai| Function: Commercial | Reports to: Head – Commercial

Purpose

SPN is looking for an experienced Lead – Marketing who has strong domain expertise in marketing procurement who will own, drive, manage and execute delivery of strategic commercial and procurement programs and activities that advance SPN’s business, brand, policy, and cost goals & objectives. The person will be responsible for managing external & internal stakeholders’ expectations & relations.

Education

• Postgraduate/ MBA

Experience

• 12-15 years of experience in in a commercial role for Commercial management of marketing contracts

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial negotiations on marketing, facility & infrastructure spends including Talent, Tech, Equipment, Agencies etc.
• Setting up models for central network set ups for Admin & HR related spends
• Evaluating & developing future tech., AI applicability across businesses, & sports with our CTO
• Collaborate with the Regional South business to build this vertical
• Work closely with the marketing teams on all commercial, sourcing and procurement matters
• Provide strategic counsel and commercial expertise to the business & be accountable for sound commercial decisions across the network.
• Develop SPN’s commercial strategy consistent with the overall strategic direction of the organization.
• Know and analyze market trends to identify opportunities that can optimize commercial decisions.
• Propose creative commercial solutions to contribute to the bottom-line
• Develop and manage annual commercial budget pertaining to marketing and other costs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs & other compliances as per SPN’s policies & practices.
