Job Description

• Prepare bills according to prescription, accept payment, ensure proper packaging of medicines, and dispatch them to the patients.
• Prepare the sales summary sheet, get it acknowledged by the accounts department, and deposit cash accordingly on a daily basis
• Ensuring the return of the medicines from the patients within six months, provided only after the original bill is presented.
• Ensuring both — qualitative and quantitative — checking of the medical products sent by the stockists.
• Matching them with the original bill and acknowledging it after complete assurance
• Ensuring purchase entry of all the medical stocks into the system.
• Updating the fluctuations of the MRP/purchase rates of medical products and informing the firm’s CEO regarding the issue.
• Arranging the medical stocks in alphabetical order.
• Ensuring all these stationary items — cello tapes, cutting paper, cartridge, etc — are well in place before exhaustion.
• Monitoring the refrigerator’s temperature and ensuring the medicines are taken care of.
• In the pharmacy manager’s absence, conduct a thorough inspection of all the medical stocks.
• This includes liaison with the stockists, logistical support, channelling with the stakeholders, etc
• Physical inspection, maintenance, keeping a tab on expiry/to be expired of all the medical stocks.
• Liaisoning with 2 departmental OTs (Ovum pickup and hysteroscopy/laproscopy)and maintaining communications with departments weekly.
• Requisitioning OT medicines and channelling logistical support weekly.
• Quarterly inspection of OT medicines near expiring and communicating with stockists on the issue.
