Role Description

We seek a Packaging Development Manager for a full-time, on-site position at our Bengaluru office. The role involves managing all aspects of packaging development, including designing, researching, and implementing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. Key responsibilities also include overseeing packaging engineering processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize packaging materials and designs for specific product requirements. The role demands strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to ensure products meet performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Packaging Engineering, including knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in Packaging Design and Sustainable Packaging solutions to create innovative and eco-friendly products.
• Experience with Food Packaging, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining product quality and safety.
• Knowledge and experience in Research and Development (R&D) related to packaging technologies and trends.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to provide value-engineered solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements and trends in the global packaging industry.
