Big Data Admin (Cloudera Admin focused)

Opening Locations: Chennai/Bangalore/Noida

We are hiring a Big Data Admin with strong admin capabilities to build, manage, and optimize modern data platforms. You will work on tools like Cloudera (CDP), Kafka, Astro (Airflow), Starburst (Trino), and MongoDB, ensuring scalability, reliability, and automation across the data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines (batch & streaming)
2. Manage and support CDP, Kafka, Airflow (Astro), Starburst, MongoDB
3. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
4. Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
5. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability & reliability
6. Troubleshoot production issues and support data teams

Required Skills

1. Hands-on experience with CDP,
2. Exposure or Ready to learn Kafka, Airflow (Astro)
3. Working knowledge of Starburst (Trino) and MongoDB
4. Strong DevOps skills: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
5. Experience with Linux, SQL, and Python/Shell scripting
6. Understanding of distributed data systems and pipelines
7. Knowledge of data governance and security
8. Exposure to Privacera, Grafana, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Good to Have

1. Knowledge on Dataiku and Databricks, Vector DB

Soft Skills

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Ability to manage stakeholders across business and IT teams.
