About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Technology Operations Administrator to support and enhance enterprise procurement orchestration capabilities through administration, development, automation, and governance of the Zip Platform
This role combines Application Development, API Integration, Workflow Automation, Platform Engineering, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable business-critical technology operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, enterprise integrations, automation, CI/CD, and platform governance within large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Governance
- Administer and support the Zip procurement orchestration platform.
- Ensure platform stability, security, availability, and performance.
- Implement governance, change management, and configuration management practices.
- Maintain audit readiness, workflow version control, and compliance standards.
- Monitor platform health and proactively resolve operational issues.
Application Development & Workflow Automation
- Design, develop, and enhance workflow automation solutions.
- Build scalable business process orchestration workflows.
- Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Develop automation scripts and reusable workflow components.
API Development & Integrations
- Design, develop, and manage APIs throughout the full lifecycle.
- Build integrations between procurement platforms and enterprise applications.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API and integration performance.
DevOps & DevSecOps
- Manage and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
- Participate in release management and deployment planning.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
Security & Compliance
- Manage platform security, RBAC, authentication, and access controls.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Document operational procedures and security controls.
- Identify and mitigate security and operational risks.
Agile Delivery & Support
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide effort estimation and delivery commitments.
- Support incident management and root cause analysis.

- Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Experience with relational databases and data management concepts.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with the Zip Procurement Orchestration Platform.
- Kubernetes and container orchestration exposure.
