The project – NHSRCL Mumbai-Ahmedabad – Mumbai, India. We are hiring for the position of Dy. Chief Expert-Overall ITC.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Lead the Overall (ITC) coordination for Signalling and Telecom systems, ensuring seamless integration with Rolling Stock, Track, IDS, AMS, OCC, and Depot systems in compliance with contract and HSR standards.
• Prepare, finalize, and issue the Overall ITC Basic Document and Integrated Detailed ITC Plan, consolidating individual contractor ITC plans into a unified master plan defining integration methodology, responsibilities, schedules, and interface management.
• Review, monitor, and supervise contractor activities related to design, installation, testing, and commissioning of signalling and telecom systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders for ITC execution, including planning installation and integration activities, facilitating installation of measuring instruments on Rolling Stock, and ensuring readiness of Depot and field systems.
• Witness and oversee installation tests, functional tests, interface tests, and overall system integration tests, evaluate test results with Package Engineers, and recommend corrective actions, mitigation measures, and additional testing where required.
• Manage and resolve cross-package interface and integration issues, analyzing root causes and implementing effective countermeasures in coordination with contractors, ISA, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit ITC progress reports, technical assessments, and recommendations, and support statutory approvals by coordinating with CMRS, RDSO, ISA, and other authorities for testing, certification, and commissioning approval.
• Provide expert technical advice and leadership to NHSRCL and Project Director, ensuring successful system integration, trial run readiness, safety compliance, and timely commissioning of Signalling and Telecom systems.
• Engineering Graduate/Diploma in Electrical/Elect ronics stream or equivalent.
• Engineering Graduate with overall 15 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 18 years of experience in Rail-based Transit System project(s)(i).
• 08 years of experience in Overall ITC during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)(i).
• ITC Coordination & Supervision: Ability to supervise installation, functional, interface, and integration testing activities across signalling and telecom systems.
• Installation Verification & Readiness: Skilled in checking equipment installation, cable terminations, power supply, earthing, and interface readiness as per drawings and specifications.
• Test Procedure Implementation: Strong knowledge in reviewing and implementing approved test procedures, method statements, and checklists.
• Interface Management: Ability to coordinate with signalling, telecom, rolling stock, track, and depot teams to resolve interface issues.
• Defect Identification & Closure: Experience in identifying non-conformities, punch points, and ensuring timely corrective actions by contractors.
• Documentation & Reporting: Skilled in preparing ITC reports, test reports, inspection reports, and progress monitoring for management review
