Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets (laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, peripherals).
Maintain accurate asset inventory in asset management tools or CMDB.
Track asset allocation, movement, and ownership across departments.
Perform regular audits and reconciliation of physical vs. system records.
Coordinate procurement, vendor management, and asset tagging activities.
Monitor hardware utilization and recommend optimization strategies.
Handle asset retirement, disposal, and data destruction in compliance with policies.
Collaborate with IT support, procurement, and finance teams.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Generate reports on asset status, depreciation, and inventory trends.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of IT hardware lifecycle management.
Experience with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow HAM, SCCM, or similar).
Knowledge of CMDB and IT asset management processes.
Familiarity with procurement and vendor management.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
