Job Description

As a Junior HR Specialist, you will work closely with our HR team to provide administrative and operational support across various HR functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in HR and develop foundational skills in HR practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with employee orientation.
• Assist with employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries, organizing employee engagement events, and maintaining employee records.
• Assist with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining HR databases, updating employee files, and preparing HR-related documents.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee training and development, and HR policy development.
• Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Handle procurement and inventory of office supplies and pantry items, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Address and resolve operational issues related to pantry and office services.
• Assist in planning and executing administrative initiatives to enhance workplace efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in HR or office administration; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
