Merchandising Operations Coordinator Full Time NEW

Proenza Schouler is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Merchandising Operations Coordinator to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all merchandising systems and tools. This role is central to the smooth execution of merchandising processes across all categories and channels, supporting day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update all merchandising tools and databases throughout the product development process.
• Monitor and track development styles and SKU counts, conducting real-time analysis to ensure collections align with merchandising plans and historical performance.
• Maintain proactive cross-functional relationships, anticipating merchandising team needs to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Lead market preparation and line openings, including setting up key merchandising briefs, finalizing RLM databases, and configuring NuOrder linesheets with product details, global pricing, and imagery.
• Execute collection updates in all relevant databases and communicate changes to cross-functional teams.
• Manage quarterly order migration from NuOrder to RLM, ensuring production supply matches demand.
• Support seasonal assortment planning by assembling quarterly market recaps, providing data insights to inform merchandising decisions for future seasons.
• Compile and distribute detailed weekly in-season selling reports for all divisions and channels using 42Technologies data extraction tools.
• Partner with Sales on the carnet process and documents to ensure collection ships to international markets.
• Conduct competitive analysis to support merchandising initiatives and milestone meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a data-driven role, fashion or other analytical backgrounds welcome
• Experience with NuOrder and RLM is highly preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel, able to synthesize large datasets and automate reporting
• Strong time management and organizational skills in addition attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
• Able to work independently and take initiative yet collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams when necessary
• Strong fashion sensibility and trend awareness.

The targeted hourly range for this role is $21-$24. Actual rate offered may be outside of this range based on factors such as, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is hourly and eligible for overtime. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including participation in an annual performance-based incentive program, a seasonal clothing allowance, and a 401k match program.
