Job Title: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer – Solar
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ Years
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹30,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced O&M Engineer to manage the operations and maintenance of solar power systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant performance, timely fault resolution, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Monitor solar plant performance on a regular basis to ensure optimal energy generation
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of solar systems and associated equipment
- Coordinate with site teams for timely fault identification and rectification
- Maintain accurate records of energy generation, system performance, and downtime
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities
- Conduct routine inspection and cleaning of solar panels and related equipment
- Prepare and submit timely reports to the Project Head or higher management
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment
- Coordinate with clients regarding site updates, maintenance schedules, and performance
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize system downtime
Key Requirements :-
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar O&M or similar role
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites if required
