SAP ePPDS Consultant – India Full Time NEW

Our Client, a global healthcare company is seeking an experienced SAP ePPDS Consultant to to join them for a remote role. This role is pivotal in delivering end-to-end SAP ePPDS (embedded Production Planning and Discrete Scheduling) solutions. The SAP ePPDS Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ePPDS frameworks within SAP S/4HANA environments, ensuring seamless integration with financial, supply chain, and analytics modules. With a strong focus on data modeling, performance management, and business process alignment, the consultant will play a key role in enabling clients to achieve real-time insights, enhanced forecasting accuracy, and scalable planning capabilities. This position demands a deep technical understanding of SAP ePPDS, strong client-facing abilities, and a proven track record in delivering complex transformation projects within the Indian and global markets. SAP ePPDS is mandatory for this one, SAP APO/ SAP PPDS applications shall not be entertained.

This is a contractual role, through the end of 2026. The candidate must be flexible to work in the client’s preferred time zone, which may include EST or CEST.

Job Role:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP ePPDS solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust ePPDS models.
• Develop and maintain data models, planning hierarchies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with client business objectives.
• Configure and optimize ePPDS components including Planning, Performance Management, and Data Services for accurate and scalable reporting.
• Integrate ePPDS with other SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and BW/4HANA to ensure end-to-end data consistency.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution to ensure solution reliability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and project team members.
• Deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and support teams.
• Stay current with SAP ePPDS updates, best practices, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support post-go-live support, performance tuning, and enhancement initiatives

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects with a focus on ePPDS.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ePPDS functionalities including Planning, Performance Management, Data Services, and Integration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing planning models, hierarchies, and KPIs.
• Experience with data modeling, data flows, and master data management within SAP environments.
• Certification in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ePPDS is highly desirable.
• Experience working in IT consultancy firms or large-scale enterprise transformation projects is preferred.
• Willingness to work EST or CET hours as per client’s directives.
