We are seeking a highly motivated Section Manager, Production for Machine-Shop at Oragadam, Chennai to join our Production team on a full-time basis.

Position Overview

Overall 15+ years of experience in production-CNC shop, Expert in CNC knowledge, manpower handling & operational excellence.

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Ensure production plan vs actual based on assembly requirement
• Oversees daily operation of CNC, VMC and HMC machinery to ensure the quality and efficiency
• Achieve production KPI’s OEE, Machine utilization & Efficiency
• New product development and execution for new business opportunities
• Take overall responsibility to adherence safety standards and 5’s by all employees
• Rejection & rework control with proper analysis
• Strong in team management and team development
• Lean knowledge VSM, KAIZEN, POKA YOKE, TPM & 7QC
• Ensure KAIZEN from employees & implementation
• Cycle time reduction, process optimization, tool cost reduction, work holding improvement and loss time reduction
• Sub con material handling to ensure on time delivery for assembly
• Responsibility for compliance on IATF documentation

Academic/Professional Education: BE DME

Relevant Experience: 15+ Years of experience in production

3. Lean tool-KAIZEN, VSM, TPM & 7QC

4. Problem solving

5. Team management & development
