Job Title : Senior Engineer – Energy Plant – (Boiler & Thermic Fluid Heater)
Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate (BOE)
Experience : 6-8 Years of experience
Industry : Energy Plant/Power Plant Operation and Maintenance.
- Required Skills : Knowledge of boiler types & TFH (fire tube, water tube)
- Understanding of steam generation Oil heating systems
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Leadership and team management
Key Responsibilities: –
- Operate boiler & TFH systems to generate steam or hot water and TFH for industrial processes.
- Monitor equipment such as pressure gauges, temperature controls, fuel levels, and safety devices.
- Ensure safety compliance with standards and regulations (like boiler safety rules and environmental norms).
- Perform routine inspections to detect leaks, corrosion, or mechanical issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot boiler systems, flue gas system, TFH system valves, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Control fuel supply systems (wood chips , biomass, etc.) for efficient combustion.
- Record operational data (temperature, pressure, output) for reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during shutdowns or repairs.
- Optimize performance of Energy plant to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Required Skills :-
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer
- Knowledge of boiler and Thermic Fluid Heater operations and both systems
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control systems
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
Work Environment:-
- Energy Plant
- Water Treatment plants
- Fuel Handing system (dusty environment)
Work may involve including nights and weekends.
