WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer – Frontend with expertise in React, Typescript, and Next.JS to join our dynamic development team. As an experienced Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface of our web applications using React and related technologies. You will work in an agile team and collaborate with our product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions.

Responsibilities
Develop user-friendly, responsive web applications using React.js, Next.JS and related frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality frontend code.
Optimize application performance and user experience by implementing efficient and reusable frontend components.
Conduct code reviews, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
Work closely with architects to drive the design elements.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software solutions within defined timelines.
Stay up to date with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Write clean, well-documented code and ensure proper version control using Git or other version control systems

At H&M, you’ll be part of a global, cross-functional team focused on enabling data-driven decision making at the core of our customer offering. Our mission is to empower assortment teams to efficiently and accurately plan and adjust demand for articles across all markets and touchpoints, with the flexibility to swiftly adapt to changing circumstances.
The Own Channels is the tech team responsible of the development of features and tools that helps H&M optimize its communication within its channels. Securing that H&M can talk to and activate its customers with relevant messages in the channels they prefer.
You will work closely with a Product Manager (PM), Engineering Manager (EM), and Tech Lead to define, prioritize, and deliver frontend initiatives aligned with product and business goals. Together, you will ensure clear ownership, strong technical direction, and high-quality execution of UI deliverables. You will collaborate deeply with UX Designers to translate design concepts into intuitive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces, ensuring consistency and excellence in user experience.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), and 6-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Proven work experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a focus on React and Next.JS.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
Extensive experience with React.js.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with popular React libraries and frameworks such as Redux, React Router, or Next.js.
Knowledge of frontend build tools and module bundlers such as Webpack or Babel.
Experience with Git.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js) and RESTful APIs.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to work closely with designers.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
