We are looking for an experienced Tester with strong domain knowledge in Banking and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of banking applications, with a focus on AML processes such as KYC and transaction monitoring.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead testing activities and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
Perform functional and regression testing for banking applications
Validate AML processes including KYC, transaction monitoring, and compliance checks
Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Log, track, and manage defects; participate in defect triage meetings
Ensure timely and high-quality releases through effective coordination with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

—Must-Have Skills:—
Hands-on experience in Banking & AML testing
Strong knowledge of KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Compliance processes
Experience in functional and regression testing
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA/ALM)
Exposure to BMO Customer Connect application
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
–Good-to-Have Skills:–
Experience in automation testing tools (Selenium or similar)
Knowledge of API testing (Postman/REST services)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Understanding of data warehousing or ETL testing
Exposure to banking regulations and audit/compliance standards
Experience working with onsite/offshore coordination
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
