Sr Executive-Sourcing Full Time NEW

JOB SUMMARY:
The Strategic Sourcing person is responsible for developing and executing the sourcing strategies for key raw materials, Component and FG material. This role focuses on identify the potential suppliers, cost control, vendor management and Contract management.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability and sustainability.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business goals.
Able to do risk assessments for suppliers and manage risk in the supply base, including dual sourcing and contingency planning.
Developing, Writing and publishing bids (RFP, RFQ,).
Supplier negotiations in consideration of Techno commercial comparison. Able to do the workout for detailed costing (ZBC) covering RMC, conversion, Taxes, Freight, inflation and other factors.
Implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Liaise with the key concern stakeholders to establish the requirements and key metrics for project delivery.
Able to generate cost saving through Negotiation, Alternate source and VAVE.
Ensuring compliance with the procurement process and other aspects of the GPP (Global Procurement policy).
Review and maintain good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation.
Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
B.Tech/Diploma/MBA with 5~8 years’ experience.
Having experience in the Sanitaryware industry will be preferred.
SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
Organization Relationship: (internal contact):
Frequent contact with Production/Engineering/ Quality functions.
Skill level:
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Must be humble in Interaction and aggressive in deliverables.
Able to work with cross functional team.
