SRP Certification and Food Safety Manager Full Time NEW

SHARSID is seeking a dynamic SRP Certification and Food Safety Manager to lead our compliance efforts in sustainable rice production and food safety standards. Reporting to the General Manager – Certification and Extension, you will ensure adherence to SRP (Sustainable Rice Platform), FSSC 22000, HACCP, and ISO standards while driving certification processes across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee SRP certification audits, documentation, and renewals for rice sourcing and processing operations.
Develop and implement food safety management systems, including risk assessments and traceability protocols.
Conduct training programs for farmers, suppliers, and staff on sustainable practices and safety compliance.
Monitor regulatory changes in India (e.g., FSSAI) and globally, ensuring proactive compliance.
Collaborate with quality teams to resolve non-conformities and prepare for third-party audits.
Analyze data on sustainability metrics (water use, emissions) to support SRP reporting.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology, Agriculture, or related field; SRP or food safety certification preferred.
5+ years in food safety/certification roles, ideally in rice/agri supply chains.
Strong knowledge of FSSAI, GlobalG.A.P., and international standards.
Proficiency in audit tools and data analytics; travel willingness (20-30%).
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
