Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain planning strategies to optimize inventory management and fill rates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand planning and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Monitor and analyze service rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Minimize non-ideal movement and network optimisation to reduce distribution cost
• Identify SLOBs/ low shelf life items and take necessary steps to avoid expiries
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement efficient inventory management systems and processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Track and analyze fill rates, identifying trends and implementing initiatives to improve service levels.
• Conduct regular reviews of supply chain performance and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain planning and logistics.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to supply chain operations

Experience and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using supply chain planning software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain strategies and improving operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices in supply chain management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
