Role Overview
We are hiring a US GAAP Accountant to own technical accounting and reporting under US GAAP. The role combines deep technical knowledge with operational close discipline — making sure the books are right, on time, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
– Own technical accounting interpretation and application under US GAAP
– Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
– Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities for assigned areas
– Document accounting policies and memos for complex transactions
– Support external audit, including PBC schedules and auditor inquiries
– Partner with FP&A and operations on accurate financial reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
– 4+ years in accounting under US GAAP
– CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
– Strong technical knowledge across revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and equity
– Hands-on with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems
– Advanced Excel skills and clean documentation discipline
– Big 4 audit background is a plus
