Position Overview

The APAC Head will be an integral member of the ZEE5 leadership team, responsible for leading business strategy and growth across APAC markets. The incumbent will own and scale ZEE5’s APAC business by driving localized growth, revenue expansion, and cross-functional execution aligned with the company’s global vision.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end P&L for ZEE5 across APAC, driving sustainable revenue growth through OTT subscriptions, AVOD, digital advertising, FAST, syndication, partnerships, and emerging monetization models.
• Lead market development and expansion, defining and executing localized strategies tailored to consumer behavior, pricing, content demand, and distribution ecosystems in each APAC market.
• Drive revenue doubling by scaling digital sales, activating telco/device partnerships, B2B distribution, and advertiser-led solutions beyond core streaming.
• Partner closely with Content, Language Heads, Marketing, CLM, Customer Acquisition, Analytics, Product & Tech to deliver integrated growth outcomes and faster market responsiveness.
• Build and strengthen brand presence and audience scale, improving reach, engagement, retention, and lifetime value across markets.
• Establish data-led decision-making, leveraging analytics to optimize CAC, ARPU, monetization mix, and funnel performance.
• Collaborate with President office, CBO’s Office, category and high-performing regional teams, creating a future-ready, execution-driven organization aligned with ZEE5’s global vision.

Who You Are:

• Experience: 12+ years of experience in OTT, digital media, or consumer internet, with proven leadership at a regional or international level.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in owning P&L and driving revenue growth through subscriptions, AVOD, digital advertising, partnerships, and distribution-led models.
• Market Expertise: Deep understanding of APAC markets, including consumer behaviour, content ecosystems, telco and device partnerships, and regulatory nuances.
• Growth Mindset: Proven ability to scale businesses, launch new monetization levers, and develop go-to-market strategies across emerging and mature markets.
• Data Orientation: Strong comfort using analytics and insights to drive decisions across acquisition, engagement, retention, ARPU, and monetization mix.
