About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor who understands content from a marketing and performance perspective. This role goes beyond editing—you’ll be responsible for creating videos that capture attention, retain viewers, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, ads, and brand content
• Handle end-to-end editing: sequencing, structuring, and final output
• Apply color grading, transitions, captions, and sound design
• Ensure strong pacing for reels, ads, and short-form content
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing team
• Optimize videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Meta Ads

What Success Looks Like

• Ability to create high-retention content (strong first 3 seconds / hooks)
• Understanding the difference between aesthetic edits vs performance-driven edits
• Consistent delivery of high-quality videos within timelines
• Edits that improve watch time, engagement, and overall content performance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing
• Experience working with brands / marketing content (ads preferred)
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong fundamentals in:
• Storytelling & pacing
• Audience retention
• Color grading
• Transitions & effects
• Captions & audio sync

Must Have

• Basic understanding of AI tools in video editing / content creation
• Familiarity with AI-based video generation

Good to Have (Bonus)

• Knowledge of CGI / motion-based visual effects

Hiring Process

Compensation

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills & experience)
