About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Engineer Intern to join. The intern will assist in providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and standard applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in setting up new systems, user accounts, email configurations, and network access.
• Support IT asset management, inventory tracking, and documentation.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Coordinate with senior IT staff for escalated technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Diploma in IT, Dip-Hardware & Networking, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with MS Office, email configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking fundamentals is preferred.
