Role Description
The Operations coordinator will oversee day-to-day logistics operations, focusing on ensuring efficient transportation, customs clearing, and distribution processes to meet client needs. Key responsibilities include managing shipment workflows, optimizing supply chains, supervising team performance, and liaising with service providers and clients. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement. This is a full-time remote role requiring strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Supply chain management, logistics coordination, and operations planning expertise
- Proficiency in freight forwarding processes, customs brokerage, and international trade compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize workflows and resolve supply chain challenges
- Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills for managing teams and coordinating with stakeholders
- Experience with digital logistics tools and software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time-management skills
- Prior experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector is an advantage
