Deputy Manager – IT Infrastructure

Location: WIRTGEN INDIA Pvt. Ltd., Dist Pune, 412214, Maharashtra, India

• Educational Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation in Computer Science
• Age: 30 – 35 years
• Experience: 8 to 12 years

Purpose of the Job:IT Infrastructure / The IT Systems, Network & Security Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations across Wirtgen India’s multiple loca-tions. The role covers systems administration, network operations, IT security, infrastruc-ture support, procurement coordination, vendor management, budget tracking, and project assistance. With hands on technical expertise and strong operational discipline, the execu-tive ensures seamless IT service delivery aligned with global IT standards, security practic-es, and compliance requirements.

Scope of Work & Accountabilities:

• Manage daily IT operations including systems, networks, endpoints, and service continuity.
• Monitor and maintain servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and enterprise appli-cations.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policies, and identi-ty services.
• Manage VMware virtualization clusters and ensure high system uptime with regular health checks and updates.
• Support file services, backup platforms, application environments, and endpoint se-curity tools.
• Perform routine operational tasks such as patching, backups, performance checks, and incident handling.
• Operate and troubleshoot LAN/WLAN/WAN networks across multiple locations.
• Configure and maintain Cisco/Meraki/HP switching, routing, wireless networks, and structured cabling.
• Manage firewall policies (Palo Alto), VPN tunnels, and secure remote connectivity.
• Implement security controls including patch compliance, endpoint protection, and vulnerability remediation.
• Conduct system audits, account reviews, and compliance checks aligned with corpo-rate IT policies (including SOX/RA).
• Provide L2 user support, manage service desk SLAs, and support collaboration/VC systems.
• Handle IT procurement support: PR creation, quotation collection, asset inventory updates, vendor coordination, and renewals tracking.
• Support infrastructure projects by assisting with upgrades, migrations, testing, doc-umentation, and coordination with vendors and OEMs.
• Maintain accurate system configuration records and infrastructure documentation.

Skills / Competencies required:Technical expertise including system analysis

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, networking, and firewalls.
• Good understanding of IT security, patching, compliance, and vulnerability han-dling.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across systems, networks, and endpoints.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, manage assets, and support IT operations across locations.
