ABOUT NRI

NRI – Nest or Invest is a Melbourne-based full-service property investment and development management company. We manage the entire journey for our clients — from site sourcing and town planning through to construction and handover.

As we scale our digital platform, we’re looking for a talented contractor to own and grow our web and mobile presence end to end.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a senior contractor for an initial 3-month engagement who can work across our full digital stack — maintaining and extending our existing marketing website, building new platform features, and developing a React Native mobile app for our investor community.

You’ll work closely with the NRI team with clear milestones and regular check-ins. There is potential to extend beyond 3 months for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Build, maintain and extend the NRI marketing website (currently vanilla HTML/CSS/JS)

• Develop new platform pages — investor portal, project tracker, listings, member dashboards

• Build and ship a React Native mobile app for NRI’s investor community (iOS + Android)

• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs

• Migrate/refactor existing pages into Next.js as the codebase scales

• Maintain strict brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

• Collaborate asynchronously, delivering against fortnightly milestones

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web and/or mobile development experience

• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and vanilla HTML/CSS/JS

• Proven experience shipping React Native apps to App Store and Google Play

• Strong eye for UI/UX — you care how things look, not just how they work

• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously across time zones

• Portfolio or GitHub with live production projects

• Currently available and actively looking for contract work

• Excellent written English communication

• Experience with property, real estate, or fintech platforms

• Ability to work with Figma files and deliver pixel-perfect code
