About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and business growth in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés/Catering) segment. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, increasing product placement, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

• Identify and acquire new HoReCa customers including hotels, restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, and catering companies.
• Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, chefs, and restaurant owners.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Account Management

• Manage and grow existing HoReCa accounts.
• Ensure regular customer visits and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service-related issues promptly.

Sales & Distribution

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Ensure product availability and visibility across assigned accounts.
• Coordinate with distributors and internal teams for timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor secondary sales and stock movement.

Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Gather customer feedback and provide recommendations for product improvements and new product launches.
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• MBA preferred.

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in HoReCa sales/business development.
• Experience in FMCG, beverages, food products, dairy, health drinks, kombucha, packaged foods, or hospitality-related industries preferred.
• Strong network within hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering businesses.
