Job Title: L2 Azure Support Engineer

Experience: 2-3 years

Certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) is usually mandatory; AZ-500 is a plus .

Key Responsibilities:

· Infrastructure Support (IaaS/PaaS): Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure VMs, Storage Accounts, VNets, Load Balancers, and App Services. You’ll handle performance issues, disk management, and backup operations .

· Identity & Security: Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and hybrid identity (AD Connect). Enforce policies via Defender for Cloud and manage Key Vault for secrets/certificates .

· Monitoring & Automation: Set up Azure Monitor, Log Analytics (KQL queries), and alerts. Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Azure CLI .

· Hybrid Networking: Support VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute connectivity between on-premises networks and Azure. Troubleshoot VNet peering and NSG rules .

· Backup & DR: Manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR), including running recovery drills to meet RPO/RTO objectives .

Required Skills & Experience

· Cloud Stack: Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, and Entra ID .

· Operating Systems: Strong Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) .

· Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell (ARM/Bicep or Terraform is a big plus) .

· Connectivity: Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls .

Preferred Experience

· Experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment is highly preferred .
