Job Description: The Candidate will drive the planning and execution of Learner Placements in PG
programs at Simplilearn. India faces a significant demand-supply gap in the job market, with millions
of graduates and early-career professionals struggling with employability. Simplilearn’s Career
Services aims to bridge this gap by preparing and connecting learners with job opportunities in Data,
Tech, and Business domains (Data Science, Analytics, AI-ML, Gen AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Digital
Marketing, Product Management, etc.).
The ideal candidate should be driven by a strong sense of purpose and be willing to go the extra mile
to impact learners’ career growth. This role requires strong business development and stakeholder
management expertise, with a primary focus on securing high-quality job opportunities for learners
and ensuring their prioritization in hiring processes.
Key Focus Areas:
● Enterprise Hiring Partnerships – Establish and maintain strategic hiring partnerships with
enterprises and startups, securing exclusive collaborations to bring highly relevant job
opportunities for learners. Prioritize stakeholder engagement to ensure our learners get
hiring preference.
● Communication & Relationship Management – Build and nurture relationships with
recruiters through effective communication, ensuring consistent engagement and recruiter
retention.
● Ensure Learner Placements – Work with hiring partners to match learners with suitable job
opportunities, optimizing their chances of success in the hiring process. On a need basis,
coordinate directly with learners to align them with relevant opportunities and guide them
through the hiring process.
● Data-Driven Decision Making – Use insights from hiring trends and recruiter feedback to
refine profile selection and readiness, enhancing learner placement success rates.
● Placement Metrics Ownership – Drive key placement metrics such as number of hiring
drives, placement count per month, and recruiter retention.
Desired Background:
● 3+ years of total work experience, with at least 1+ year of relevant experience in Business
Development, Enterprise Sales/Partnerships, Career Services, or similar roles.
● Proven experience in managing B2B relationships and securing hiring partnerships.
● Prior exposure to training, education, or EdTech is desirable.
● Strong data orientation —ability to analyze hiring trends and placement success rates.
● Ability to present and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and hiring partners.
Requirements:
● Sales & Relationship Building – Strong ability to develop and manage hiring partnerships,
ensuring consistent job opportunities for learners.
● Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication with strong account
management capabilities.
● Collaboration & Teamwork – Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive alignment
across teams.
● Technical Proficiency – Working knowledge MS Office/Google Suite skills. (Intermediate to
Advanced)
● Education – Graduate/MBA with experience managing B2B accounts in EdTech, SaaS, or
similar domains.
