Role Overview

We are looking for a highly proactive, growth-oriented Social Media Marketer who understands that social media success is not just about posting content. This role is for someone who can organically grow social media presence, build and manage communities/groups, increase meaningful engagement, and turn social platforms into active channels for visibility, trust, and lead generation.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of growing pages, groups, followers, and engagement across multiple platforms through consistent strategy, audience interaction, community-building, and smart content execution.

This is not a role for a routine post scheduler. We need someone who knows how to make social media pages and groups alive, interactive, growing, and valuable.

In addition, the candidate should have a fundamental understanding of SEO, content discoverability, keyword usage, and how social media and search visibility can support each other.

Key Objective of the Role

The primary objective of this role is to:

• Grow social media pages organically
• Build, grow, and moderate online groups/communities
• Increase real engagement and audience participation
• Improve followers, reach, comments, saves, shares, and community interaction
• Create social ecosystems that lead to brand trust, visibility, and inquiries

Core Responsibilities

1. Organic Social Media Growth

The candidate will be responsible for growing social media presence organically across relevant platforms such as:

• Facebook Pages
• Facebook Groups
• Instagram
• LinkedIn
• YouTube
• X / Twitter
• Pinterest
• Reddit / Quora / niche communities where relevant

This includes:

• Developing and executing platform-specific organic growth strategies
• Increasing relevant followers, not vanity followers
• Identifying audience segments and reaching them through strategic engagement
• Creating sustainable growth systems rather than one-time campaigns
• Improving page authority, credibility, and visibility over time

2. Community Building and Group Development

A major part of this role is building and scaling communities, especially on platforms like Facebook Groups, LinkedIn Groups, Reddit-style communities, or niche forums.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating new groups/communities from scratch when required
• Growing membership organically through targeted outreach and engagement strategies
• Developing group rules, positioning, and community value proposition
• Encouraging member participation through discussions, prompts, polls, live sessions, comments, and value-driven content
• Converting passive audiences into active community participants
• Maintaining healthy, relevant, and spam-free communities
• Building a sense of trust, belonging, and repeat engagement within the group

The candidate must understand how to turn a group into an active ecosystem, not just a silent list of members.

3. Engagement Strategy and Audience Interaction

This role requires hands-on engagement, not passive content publishing.

The candidate will be expected to:

• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions thoughtfully and promptly
• Start conversations with followers and prospects
• Increase comment quality and engagement depth
• Build relationships with members, followers, prospects, and collaborators
• Identify engagement opportunities in relevant communities, threads, conversations, and groups

Although this role is not limited to posting, content execution is still important.

The candidate should be able to:

• Plan content that is designed for growth and engagement
• Understand what type of content works on each platform
• Suggest and create content themes that attract followers and stimulate interaction
• Write strong captions, hooks, and post copy that encourage action
• Repurpose content across platforms smartly
• Coordinate with design/video/content teams where needed
• Identify high-performing content patterns and scale them

The ideal candidate must have a fundamental understanding of SEO, especially where it intersects with content and discoverability.

This does not require deep technical SEO expertise, but the candidate should understand:

• keyword-based content thinking

• how captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and profiles can improve discoverability
• YouTube title/description/tag basics
• Instagram/LinkedIn/Facebook keyword relevance
• how social content can support brand search visibility
• how website/blog/SEO strategy and social media can complement each other

Preferred knowledge includes:

• basic on-page SEO concepts
• blog headline optimization

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a basic social media posting role.

This role is not for someone whose approach is limited to:

• simply posting creatives
• randomly liking posts
• sending generic invites
• using repetitive hashtags without strategy
• scheduling content without engagement follow-through
• chasing vanity metrics without community depth

We are specifically looking for someone who can build momentum, conversation, trust, and growth.
