Senior Manager I/II (Supply Chain Operations (Fresh & Perishables)) Full Time

The Role

We are looking for a high-ownership Operations Manager (SM1/SM2) to lead the end-to-end operational execution for our BDE (Bread, Dairy, Eggs), Fresh Milk, and Meat categories. This is a critical backfill role focused on maintaining extreme stability and execution rigor in high-velocity, short-shelf-life environments.

Key Responsibilities

• S&OP & Capacity Planning: Full ownership of the Sales & Operations Planning cycle. You will manage capacity modeling and ensure 100% timely S&OP closures to meet business demand.
• Perishable Inventory Management: Maintain relentless day-to-day rigor across categories with high perishability. You will be responsible for driving availability while aggressively managing expiry and dump.
• Stable Execution: Ensure operational stability during and after category transitions, maintaining high performance across BDE, Fresh Milk, and Meat.
• Demand Planning & Forecasting: Own the BAU (Business as Usual) forecasting and lead the demand planning for Festive periods to ensure the supply chain is prepared for volume surges.
• Event Leadership: Lead the planning and ground-level execution for all major sales events, ensuring peak demand is met without operational lapses.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain or Operations.
• Sector Expertise: Must have deep experience in E-commerce. Quick Commerce (Q-comm) experience is a strong plus.
• Product Knowledge: Proven track record of managing both Perishable and Non-Perishable goods. You should be an expert in managing short-shelf-life cycles and cold-chain requirements.
• Execution Focus: A “boots-on-the-ground” mindset with the ability to manage complex daily operations and high-pressure festive peaks.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to handle forecasting and data-driven capacity planning.

• Availability & Fill Rates: Maintaining consistent stock levels across Fresh and BDE categories.
• Expiry & Wastage: Keeping dump/expiry within strict threshold limits.
• S&OP Timelines: Ensuring 100% adherence to capacity planning and closure timelines.
• Festive Readiness: Flawless execution of demand plans during high-traffic events.
