Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Support Executive | Desktop Support Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The role involves providing day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and operating systems, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The professional will respond to user tickets, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution or escalation as needed. Responsibilities include supporting network connectivity, basic server-related tasks as assigned, managing user accounts and access, and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions. The role also requires regular interaction with internal stakeholders to clarify issues, provide status updates, and deliver a consistent, service-oriented support experience.
Qualifications

• Strong Customer Support and Customer Service skills with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and ownership of user issues.
• Hands-on experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting for desktop environments, operating systems, and common enterprise applications.
• Proficient Analytical Skills to diagnose root causes, prioritize incidents, and identify recurring problems for long-term solutions.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing) and standard IT tools such as ticketing systems and remote support software.
• Knowledge of Windows (and preferably macOS or Linux) environments, antivirus and security best practices, and routine system maintenance.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certification or coursework (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support role is preferred but not strictly mandatory for highly motivated learners.
